The Thigh Thrust Test is part of the Laslett et al. 2003, clinical prediction rule that can be used to rule in the SIJ.
In isolation the thigh thrust test yields fair sensitivity. According to Laslett et. al. 2005:

This test appears to be very clinically useful in isolation, but it yields better clinical utility when used in combination with Laslett's Clinical Prediction Rule
